Heartful Yoga Community (HYC) is a space for people who love yoga—or are just beginning to explore it—to come together, learn from one another, and grow in community. Whether you’re a seasoned teacher, a curious student, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome here.

We’re guided by a heart-centered intention to share the deeper roots of yoga: not just the physical postures, but the wisdom, reflection, and spiritual connection that the practice offers. For many of us, yoga has been a powerful doorway into something more—a way to connect inward and live with more presence and purpose.

Here in North America, we’re lucky to have access to Heartfulness meditation—a simple, heart-based practice that beautifully complements any yoga style. At HYC, we create space to explore both yoga and meditation, offering opportunities to experience a variety of approaches and discover what feels most meaningful to you.

Most of all, we’re building a community: one that supports each other, uplifts one another, and shares the journey with openness and care.

At Heartful Yoga Community, our vision is to gently reconnect the worlds of yoga and meditation in North America. We seek to revisit the many forms of yoga being offered today—through the lens of spirituality, self-inquiry, and heart-centered intention.

We believe yoga is more than a posture—it’s a path. A way to explore the beauty of transformation, the joy of inner stillness, and the power of presence. By returning to the roots of yogic wisdom, we hope to inspire others to discover what it means to live with more connection, compassion, and curiosity.

As a community, we celebrate diversity in practice and perspective. We grow together by honoring our differences, learning from one another, and building a shared space where spiritual exploration and collective growth go hand in hand.

our Roots

Heartful Yoga Community began as a small group of yoga practitioners and teachers who shared a deep connection with Heartfulness meditation. We often found ourselves craving a space where the spiritual and meditative essence of yoga could be honored alongside asana and modern practice.

So, we created one.

What started as conversations and shared intentions evolved into a growing community—one that values stillness as much as movement, presence as much as posture, and heartfulness as a way of life. We honor the many expressions of yoga and spiritual practice, and we welcome all who feel called to explore them with openness and sincerity.

Our foundation is inspired by the work of the Heartfulness Institute—a global nonprofit offering accessible, heart-based meditation practices to support individual and collective well-being.
